Our mission to simplify drivers ed started with student athletes and busy teens in mind. We understand the obstacles in committing to specific class dates and times, while actively participating in sports, clubs, and life activities. Our Course Only students live all across the state of North Carolina. Many take our course due to extensive wait times and lack of scheduling flexibility at driving schools more local to them. With our live online format, all NC Virtual Drivers Ed students enjoy the same classroom experience, regardless of location.

Our goal is to prepare students for a lifetime of safe driving habits, readiness for the NC DMV administered permit exam, and ample study opportunities. Our students enjoy the luxury of attending classes on demand, as their schedules permit. To accommodate sports schedules, extracurricular activities, and busy lives, classes are available on evenings, weekends, and at various times throughout the day!

Some of our students aren’t located conveniently to complete the Behind the Wheel instruction with us, however, most all students benefit from taking the 30 instructional hours with NC Virtual Drivers Ed’s convenient program. Students who elect this Course Only path will earn instructional course completion that may be transferred to their provider of choice for completing their 6 required driving hours. You can purchase the Behind-the-Wheel training from us at a later time if you choose to.
