What To Expect
Here’s what the course covers:
When is my teenager eligible to take driver’s education?
The State of North Carolina requires students to be 14 1/2 years old by the class start date. No exceptions may be made.
What is included in the NC Virtual Drivers Ed class?
NC Virtual Driver’s Ed offers several solutions to meet your young driver’s needs. Convenience is at the forefront of our services!
Our program is designed to prepare students for a lifetime of safe driving habits, readiness for the NC DMV administered permit exam, and ample study opportunities. Our students enjoy the luxury of attending classes on demand, as their schedules permit. To accommodate sports schedules, extracurricular activities, and busy lives, classes are available on evenings, weekends, and at various times throughout the day!
Combination Package
This option provides 30 hours of required live instruction, 6 hours of behind the wheel instruction, and unlimited class exam attempts.
Behind the Wheel ONLY
Already completed the 30 instructional hours? No problem! We have immediate availability for completing the required 6 driving hours. Students may elect to participate in private or group instruction.
Instructional Course ONLY
While our location isn’t convenient for all students to complete the behind the wheel instruction with us, most all students benefit from taking the 30 instructional hours with NC Virtual Drivers Ed’s convenient program. Students who elect this path will earn instructional course completion that may be transferred to a provider of choice for completing their driving hours.
*You may contact NC Virtual Drivers Ed to make arrangements if you are more than 30 miles outside of the Gaston County area and wish to benefit from our immediate Behind the Wheel options.
