Tuition Services and Driving Package Policy
NC VIRTUAL DRIVERS ED, LLC will provide services exclusively for the package selected at the time of purchase. Additional services, including custom scheduling arrangements, may be available for purchase separately and may be acquired by contacting the school. By enrolling, students and their guardians acknowledge that only services explicitly included in the selected package are covered under the original purchase.
Payment Policy
All payments must be made in full in order to complete a purchase and enroll. Payment for each individual segment—classroom instruction, behind the wheel lessons, or the combination package —must be received in order to successfully enroll. When discussing enrollment options with the school over the phone or email, please be advised that the student cannot begin attending sessions until payment is made. Accepted methods of payment include cash and credit card. Payments can be made directly through the academy’s website or at our office. By enrolling, students and their guardians agree to the terms of this payment policy.
Attendance Policy
Students are required to attend all scheduled classroom and in-car sessions for their full duration. To receive credit and fulfill requirements, any missed classroom session exceeding thirty (30) minutes must be made up.
Behind the Wheel Training
Students should arrive for lessons physically and mentally prepared to participate in behind-the wheel instruction. Students must wear proper footwear and weather appropriate clothing to ensure safety during instruction.
Terms & Conditions
NC VIRTUAL DRIVERS ED requires all students to exercise self-discipline and maintain appropriate behavior during all scheduled time. Any use of obscene, profane, or objectionable language directed toward a student, instructor, or staff member is strictly prohibited. Students who engage in disruptive, intimidating, or threatening behavior will be subject to immediate removal from the program. NC VIRTUAL DRIVERS ED reserves the right to terminate lessons, notify parents or guardians, and take appropriate action in response to improper behavior, whether it occurs in the classroom or during behind-the-wheel instruction. Students and their parents or guardians shall be held responsible and financially liable for any damages to property or injuries resulting from disruptive actions, including but not limited to horseplay and improper use of equipment. By enrolling in the program, students, and their guardians, acknowledge and agree to these terms.
Smoke-Free Policy
NC VIRTUAL DRIVERS ED is a smoke-free environment. Smoking, including the use of electronic smoking devices, vaping devices, or any similar products, is strictly prohibited in classrooms, during behind-the-wheel lessons, and on all school premises. By enrolling in the program, students, and their guardians, agree to adhere to this policy.
Alcohol and Substance Policy
NC VIRTUAL DRIVERS ED maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding use of alcohol, drugs, or other impairing substances. Students are prohibited from attending lessons under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or any substance, including prescription or over-the-counter medication, that may impair their ability to drive safely. If an instructor reasonably suspects that a student is under the influence of alcohol or substances, the lesson will be immediately terminated, and the student will be required to arrange alternative transportation. A "No-Show" fee may be assessed in such cases, and repeated violations may result in dismissal from the program.
Behind the Wheel | Scheduling & Cancellation Policies
Notice must be given in the event a student needs to cancel or reschedule their lesson. No-Show: A student will be classified as a “No-Show” under the following conditions:
- If the student cancels a lesson within three (3) hours of the scheduled lesson time.
- If the student arrives more than fifteen (15) minutes late to a scheduled lesson.
In the event of a “No-Show,” the student will be automatically charged a $75.00 “No-Show” fee. By enrolling in the program, students, and their guardians acknowledge and accept responsibility for adhering to this policy.
Late-Cancel: A student will be classified as a “Late-Cancel” if a lesson is canceled within the timeframe of forty-eight (48) hours to three (3) hours prior to the scheduled lesson time. If a lesson is canceled during this Late-Cancel window, the student will be automatically charged a $50.00 Late-Cancel fee.
All cancellation fees must be paid in full prior to the next scheduled lesson. Failure to remit payment may result in the release of the student's reserved lesson time for other students. By participating in the program, students and their guardians acknowledge and agree to comply with this policy.
Inclement Weather
NC VIRTUAL DRIVERS ED reserves the right to suspend or cancel classes and in-car lessons in locations deemed hazardous or unfit for travel. In the event of such cancellations, the assigned instructor will promptly contact the parent or guardian of any scheduled student impacted to arrange for rescheduling. By enrolling, students and their guardians acknowledge and accept that safety considerations may necessitate cancellations and agree to the rescheduling process as outlined in this policy.

NC VIRTUAL DRIVERS ED does not issue refunds for tuition or any portion thereof once services have been rendered.
Photo Release Policy
By enrolling in NC VIRTUAL DRIVERS ED, LLC, students, and their guardians grant the academy permission to capture, use, and publish photographs or videos of the student for promotional, educational, and informational purposes. These images may be used in brochures, social media, the academy’s website, or other marketing materials. If a student or guardian does not consent to this release, a written request to opt-out must be submitted to the academy prior to the start of the program. By default, enrollment constitutes agreement to this policy.
Completion Disclaimer
NC VIRTUAL DRIVERS ED does not guarantee the student will pass their permit test or road test with the Division of Motor Vehicles. Completion of a driver’s education program does not guarantee issuance of a driver’s license. The student and the student’s parent/legal guardian, their heirs and beneficiaries waive any claim against NC VIRTUAL DRIVERS ED and their agents for any injury or damage resulting from any actions or inactions of the student during any in-car or classroom lessons. In addition, the student and the student’s parent/legal guardian, their heirs and beneficiaries hereby indemnify and hold harmless NC VIRTUAL DRIVERS ED and their agents for any injury or damage resulting from or relating to any action or inactions of the student during any in-car or classroom lesson. NC VIRTUAL DRIVERS ED is not responsible for personal items left in the classroom or the car. NC VIRTUAL DRIVERS ED is licensed by the State of North Carolina, Division of Motor Vehicles This agreement constitutes the entire contract between the school and the student, and any verbal assurances or promises not contained herein shall bind neither the school nor the student. NC VIRTUAL DRIVERS ED, LLC Terms and Conditions are subject to change at any time, with or without notice.
